BCS good so far...

As I watched the Oregon Ducks defeat the USC Trojans I could not help but wonder what the BCS standings would look like Sunday night. But they got it right. As many college football fans remember, the Ducks opened its season with a loss to Boise State, a non-BCS school, that is undefeated. Many college football analysts believed the Ducks would pass Boise State in the standings but how would this make any sense? It wouldn't and I am glad to see the BCS finally did something good. There are seven undefeated teams left in college football and they rank one through seven in the standings, as it should be. It seems the BCS may have finally figured out that undefeated teams are better than teams with a loss because their records prove it. However, many analysts thought the Ducks would jump a few of the undefeated teams, such as TCU, Cincinnati and Boise State due to its strength of schedule, which blows my mind. If you have a loss, it's your own fault and you should hope the other teams' lose. If Oregon and Boise State were to play in a rematch, I am not saying Oregon wouldn't win, but the fact is it lost. As of right now Boise State is the lowest ranked of the unbeaten teams, which should mean that all the undefeated teams are safe from being surpassed by the Ducks, but lets not hatch those eggs yet. For now I applaud the BCS for finally doing something right. Well just see how long it last.
