#Brotiquing: Tilted Kilt

March 25, 2014

Brotiquing is a weekly column reviewing restaurants in the Green Bay area. Three UW-Green Bay students, Chuck Andrews, Josh Martell and Jacob Westendorf, and UWGB alumnus Michael Duenkel, go to different Green Bay-area restaurants and critique them while broing out.

This week, with March Madness in full swing, the Brotique-ers headed to Ashwaubenon to check out the Tilted Kilt. Suggested by Sarah Chayer

The highs:

Calendar of specials

TVs and shenanigans everywhere

Loud music and wifi

The selections:

Chuck: Kilted Club with fries

Josh: Double order- Irish dip with side of fries and a fried egg burger with side of mozarrella sticks

Big Mike: Inferno burger with fries

The ratings:

Customer service 4/5

Josh (4/5): “Good, not great, … she wasn’t overbearing, her stomach was covered, and for a married guy like me that’s okay.”

Atmosphere 3.33/5

Pocket damage 3.12/5

Big Mike (3/5): “Just the burger and fries were more than $10, that’s a little steep.” This does not include his usual diet coke, he went the healthier route this week with water.

Food Quality 4.25/5

Chuck (3.75/5): I have nothing to complain about it, I don’t know what’s going to get a five for me, but I’ll know it when I taste it.”

Overall 3.16/5

Big Mike (4/5): A big thumbs down. Would be a place he would probably be invited back to, but would not want to go back.

Is it a good place for a bunch of guys to bro out?

“This is a place for guys to come and hang out and just drink, watch some games and listen to loud music. It’s perfect for that,” Chuck said.
