The Curling Club of UW-Green Bay is the 2014 USA College Curling National Champions. For the year they went 19-3.

The Curling Club of UW-Green Bay was invited to participate in the USA College Curling Championships March 14-16.  The top 16 teams in the nation based on merit points were invited to go to Nationals.  UWGB received merit points based on how they did in matches and bonspiels throughout the 2013-14 school year.  They won the Leigh’s Garden Winery College Bonspiel in Escanaba, Mich., on Nov. 16 and 17.  UWGB 1 lost in the semifinals of the Rice Lake College Spiel that took place in Rice Lake, Wis., on December 7 and 8.  The last bonspiel they went to during the school year was Jan. 24 and 25 for the Carroll University College Bonspiel in Hartland, Wis. where they won the second event.

The team representing UW-Green Bay that went to the USA College Curling Championships in Blaine, Minnesota included Marina Hauser (skip), Preston Waala (vice), Phil Huberty (second) and Heather Lindahl (lead).

The Curling Club gives opportunities to play on different levels ranging from league play at the Green Bay Curling Club, to competing at bonspiels within the state and nationally against other college athletes.
